I had the same question as well, but my business professor explained it to me.

Stocks

Capital or equity of a company. Pretty much you own a piece of a company, in our case PeopleString

Stock Options

You have the OPTION to buy stock within a certain time frame. You DO NOT own stock’s you own the right to buy a set amount of stock at a set price.
The Vesting Schedule/ Conditions of a contract usually, discuss the time frame in that you can buy the stock options that you were awarded.
The Option Price in that you are able to buy the stock options you were awarded.

What is the difference between Bid Price and Ask Price?

Ask Price

Sometimes, referred to as the offer price; the price the seller in our case PeopleString Corp. is willing to accept when we sell our stock.

Bid Price:

Is the highest price that a buyer is willing to pay for the stock

(For myself, when I bought 300 shares from PeopleString, I set the bid price at $0.77 and ended up receiving the 300 shares for $0.75 apiece)
